Jeez. So, no real conclusions. No "aha." No understanding of what is right or best, what is honest, or not, what makes sense or not. The really interesting thing to me about all of this is the idea that this is how "real" dating is anyway. Many (usually) women only date men who "can pay." The difference is, it's tacit, not explicit. Seeking Arrangement makes it explicit, which presumably is like a breath of fresh air; all parties know what's up. It's more honest. Yet... it didn't work very well for this man, and wound up injuring him. I guess because he fell for the woman (the third) he was dating and was miffed when she deigned to stay within the bounds of the professional relationship that they agreed to up front. Interesting.
