How can I have known by reading only the first paragraph that you are a real writer? But, I do.

There is a painting called Bedroom Window by John Singer Sargent. In it, unsurprisingly, a bed stands beside an open window. But it’s the transparent curtains that do it for me. They let in a dramatic light that dyes the room yellow and creates a scene where floors are beds. A cushy feeling on my limbs. I can even stare out the window and let my eyes stand on things for a while. Bliss.
