Hi Nicole,

Thank you so much for reading, and for writing, and please forgive my ridiculously late reply. No excuse other than general ineptitude.

You're right, of course. People are indeed phobic about going out, and that was BEFORE coronavirus. It just occurred to me (thank you) that maybe, just maybe, after the pandemic and a return to some semblance of "normal" interaction, maybe people will try harder to find IRL connections and rely less on the apps.

I agree, and it's refreshing to hear you say crazy-ass feminism is killing flirting. I hope you've written an article about this! I've tried, feebly, but not properly. I think I'm afraid of getting flamed! But, I agree. I see it in my daughter. So hard, so flinty. Flirting definitely not on the table. Such a distrust of men and love and courtship.

And yes, I see it in my son too, who's 22. He has no idea now how to approach women. He's scared. There is no naturalness, no sense of play or fun.

I'm looking forward to the pendulum swinging back. Soon, I hope.

I hope you've written about this! I will look. :)

I miss flirting too. I used to be great at it too, and it was fun.
