Hi Jessica, thank you for your work, for your clarion cry. I agree with you, but I find myself stymied. Do you mind one day maybe writing an article about how you are living responsibly, given all of this? I think constantly about getting rid of my car, but my friends are concerned I need it for safety and practicality, and maybe I do. I work from home as much as possible, but occasionally have to drive into the office. Public transit is a non-starter from Oakland to Santa Clara. I've thought seriously about canceling our upcoming trip to see family in Norway because I'm feeling guilty about flying and don't, honestly, think it's ethical given the situation. Then, friends tell me I can't solve it by myself, it's not on me, it's government and industry, and I should enjoy my life. Be thoughtful, but not go overboard, not be OCD about it. I just wonder how you're sorting these kinds of choices out for yourself. Sigh.
